I get a lot of spam in the comments here. You never see it because of the excellent Akismet anti-spam plug-in. Since the blog launched, it’s caught 3,906 spammy comments and is more than 99.5% accurate. Fantastic.
Anyway, Akismet puts spam into a queue which I then occasionally nuke. Most of the time, these comments are just a bunch of gibberish with crap loads of links to nefarious sites, but occasionally they’re meant to appear like genuine comments. I assume this is to get past the spam filter so they can deliver their true payload of crap loads of nefarious links with later posts. Today there were a few especially choice specimens I decided to share with you, my faithful readers, before I sent them to the great spam filter in the sky.

You guys have broken my heart. Here was I, thinking I had some fan base building and you’re telling me that the folks at “cunnilingus techniques” and “Halitosis Treatment” aren’t avid followers after all? My personal favourite is “How to lose man boobs”. I think I’ll follow his blog in return….
