Kink on Tap

I’m currently relistening to Maymay and Sara’s Kink on Tap podcast, espisode 6 – Teasing and Denial. I first heard it when I was just starting to explore T&D and found it to be incredibly helpful. Now, several months later, I’m finding myself nodding along and better understanding many of the themes they discuss. I’m actually getting more out of it now that I’m a bit more experienced. I can’t recommend it enough.

The next episode in the series was a continuation of the T&D conversation, but this time with Tom Allen. I look forward to hearing it again and capturing any nuggets of info I may have missed the first time around.

Sadly, Tom’s was their last KoT. Maymay and Sara have moved on to other projects, but I still hope that one day they’ll find the time and interest necessary to revive the podcast. It was terrific.

  1. I’m so happy to hear that you find Kink on Tap continuously helpful! A little bird told me that there might be plans for additional Kink on Tap productions restarting sometime in the later half of 2009. But don’t tell anyone I told you. ;)

  4. I can’t imagine that attention whore Tom Allen having anything worthwhile to say.

May, is it possible to record a Skype session? That might be better for sound quality than whatever you were doing before.

  5. I have quite a bit of experience recording Skype for podcasts if anyone has any questions. In fact, from what I hear, the latest Windows version of Skype may support recording out of the box (though, as a Mac user, I wouldn’t know).

Tom, why haven’t you ever done a podcast? You have a fine voice for it, plus a point of view on things. Don’t need much more than that.

  6. Yes, I’ve got a face for radio and a voice for blogging.

Besides, I have no idea what I’d do a podcast on. I mean, who would want to listen to anything that I write about? Of course, if I had May and Eileen on, then that would be awesome.

  7. Recording Skype sessions directly are certainly one possibility for the future.

  8. Looks like that little bird knew what it was talking about after all. In case you haven’t seen it yet, check out KinkOnTap.com. Looks well put-together to me. ;)
